Inside Whole Foods

Something about Whole Foods that I dig when coming into this grocery store. The entire atmosphere is well, wholesome. From an outsider they would complain about their prices but when I sit back and think about the higher prices work in the customer's favor in a couple of ways.

First, the foods that you're buying is better for you. We live in a world where we complain about our health, how overweight we've become but when it comes to doing something about many of us give lip service to the problem (I know I have). When you eat healthy it's going to cost you. I walked the isles here and when looking at the prices I have to remind myself, "I'm worth it." Not saying that in a smudge way but isn't our body our temple. Like Zig Ziglar says, "we treat a $10 dog better than our billion dollar body. We have to begin putting high quality ingredients in our billion dollar body.

Second, the employees here at Whole Foods treat like you're somebody. Again people may say, they should treat you that way with their prices". The way I look at it you get what you pay for, it's the truth. Not only do they bag your groceries but they watch HOW they bag your groceries and that is a wonderful thing.

Most important I love the atmosphere. I love the feel of the store, the look of the store, how the store is set up when it comes to shopping. I love the hotbar they have, I love that they have free Wi-Fi (every geeks dream come true.) What Whole Foods make me realize is that I want to make more money not just to say "I shop at so-and-so store" but that sometimes to have the best you have to push yourself to want the best for yourself when it comes to your health and realizing that yes, you truly have a "billion dollar body".

  1. I literally live in WF!

Our location is very interactive and has classes, health fairs, informational store tours, wine-tasting. I come away with a lot of great recipes and advice. I'm attending a biweekly 4-part series Focus on Your Health.

It can be pricey if you just go grabbing stuff randomly but they do run daily/weekly/monthly specials and also have coupons (you can also get them online). Last Friday Vitamin Water was 50 ct/bottle.

Umm yea, I got a lil excited there... Whole Foods rocks!
