Here We Go Again...

There are some things no one ever can influence me to do. Growing up in my hometown where I was surrounded by drugs, I had friends who did drugs who would joke, "One day dude we're going to hold you down and make you take a hit of this." That would never happen because, well, of my size, they knew I would beat them pulp out of them.

But then there are things that no matter how I fight it I can't help but do it. I say all the time "after this, no more...will keep the look the same." But here I am, changed it again. Yep, my blog template.

For a long time I've been reluctant to change it because back in the day it was hard as heck to change the template and tweak it the way you wanted it but now it's much easier to do it but still getting it the way you want it still takes time but I now realize when doing this it's best to set aside some time just to work on that and that alone. It's a process but in the end it's really cool to do.

I have to now begin learning how to do this on the Wordpress side. This is going to be a challenge for me but in the end it has to be done. I dig Blogger but it's always good to have a plan "B"/"C"/"D"...you get the picture.

Even though Blogger has stepped up their game in regards to having new templates and background themes for some strange reason still it takes it a little longer for my page to load so I had to go outside the box so to speak and grab different templates. This is a plus and minus. The minus is what if it's a major updater with a browser (i.e. Firefox, Chrome, IE...well, I rarely view blogs on IE because it seems many sites don't scale well on the IE side) and if the person who created the theme/template has moved on you may have to start from scratch but hey, that's the world of the web so you take your chances.

I'm trying to stick to my guns and not get in the habit of getting addicted to making changes to the site, believe, it can become addictive. For right now, I'm satisfied with how they look now. Still a little "tweaking" here and there but overall I'm pleased with this site and my other Blogger sites.
